Glen Prince Visits London

Sandrine and I decided to go for a wander around central London, a beautiful late summer’s day just brisk enough for a scarf but plenty of sunshine illuminating the capital’s historic monuments.

The tourists were out too, enjoying newfound freedom to visit the shops, the museums, the restaurants, or just the landmarks.

Tartan, Tourists, and the Queen

We came across a tartan-clad bagpipe player on the corner of Parliament Square, making Scotland proud, even Winston Churchill seems to be dancing from the top of his marble pinnacle. Then across Saint James’ Park to Buckingham Palace soaked with tradition. The queen is seemingly at home but we suspect having tea in the gardens way beyond our view, the corgis basking on the lawns, and the most fabulous scones money can buy.

We took our Royal Stewart lightweight classic tartan scarf and green polka dot spots motif scarf, sharing them as we so often do.

Till next time,
Mark
